Work in business development as a Principal Solutions Architect. Quarterback strategic initiatives by coaching management and account teams. Explore and capture opportunities, build relationships and business cases in line with margins for profit, design and deliver solutions/services for Large Enterprise/National/Global and global telecom carriers. Establish and build external vendor and partner relationships for extending network reachability into new markets for data centers, aggregation points, and establishing connectivity to end-users. Responsibility also includes building strong trusted positive relationships with decision-makers and influencers for existing customer base and future prospective organizations. Held to inspire sales professionals and ecosystems, provide technical responses, address network capacity and operational issues, and ensure end solution will not present operational or support challenges. This position is more of a Sales Engineering role on steroids and comes with the knowledge base power to strongly make recommendations across the ecosystem (pre/post sales), negotiate with external vendors on cost of fiber and equipment, as well provide insight to finance on competitive pricing against incumbents, and give insight to product development and engineering on technology trends.
