As the student representative on the Board of Directors for the Smart Grid Innovation Network, I contribute a law and policy perspective to discussions on grid modernization, clean energy integration, and innovation in Canada’s electricity sector. In this role, I have participated in strategic planning and governance oversight. The position allows me to support SGIN’s mandate of advancing smart grid technologies and collaborative energy solutions, while ensuring student and early-career voices are meaningfully represented in board-level decision-making.

Juris Doctor Candidate | UNB Law Students’ Society President (2025/05/01) I am currently a Summer Law Student at Castle & Associates in Calgary, where I will assist with civil litigation, family law, and corporate-commercial matters. My work includes legal research, drafting pleadings and client correspondence, and supporting case management and strategic planning. This role is deepening my exposure to private practice in Alberta while sharpening my advocacy and client service skills.In addition, I was recently elected President of the UNB Law Student Society for the 2025–2026 academic year, where I will lead student governance, community engagement, and academic initiatives in collaboration with faculty and external stakeholders.Previously, as a Summer Law Student in Fredericton, I supported legal work across property, family, criminal, and corporate law, drawing on my business and legal administration experience to assist senior counsel with research, document preparation, and case files.I am entering my third year at the University of New Brunswick Faculty of Law, with legal interests in civil litigation, Indigenous law, and energy and natural resources law.
