Helping my students to navigate the changing landscape of the legal profession, and preparing them for the disruptions ahead. My course gives a deep view into the main areas changing the practice of law, including reforms in law firm investment and equity participation, advertising and professional reforms, the new multi-billion-dollar industry of lawsuit speculation, and how artificial technology will change legal practice (or fail to.) Students are challenged to create their own \"framework for investment\" as a guide for how to direct their career. The final report asks students to create a new legal initiative, defined flexibly, that satisfies the investment framework they have developed.
