Alumni Relations Officer @University of St Andrews
Devise, implement and keep under review, in order to maximise new opportunities, a co-ordinated and integrated strategy for developing clubs, networks and other alumni groups across the UK and overseas- Work with club leaders and volunteers, including the team in North America, to support alumni initiatives for each club. This will include managing membership drives, organising events and sourcing alumni /University speakers- Work closely with colleagues in the Careers Centre on mentoring/volunteer opportunities for alumni and current students, including our virtual Coffee Connect program, which has had over 1400 sign ups to date- Assist student groups and societies in their communication with alumni- Take responsibility for the planning and implementation of the Freshers’ and Graduation Gift projects- Manage all non-fundraising aspects of the Family Programme and seek new ways to increase parental awareness of, and involvement in, the life of the University- Work with the Annual Giving and Individual Giving teams to provide opportunities for the cultivation and solicitation of parents where appropriate and promote and support all fundraising initiatives amongst alumni where appropriate- Plan and deliver alumni events to introduce the Principal, Director of Development and other senior members of University staff to alumni, parents and friends across the world.
