As a Senior Leadership Team member at a major multi-venue event campus comprising an Arena, Convention Centre, and Exhibition Centre, I lead a diverse team of over 60 professionals to deliver world-class Operations and Facilities Management across a complex event and conference environment. I am responsible for driving excellence in campus safety, security, event delivery, guest experience, infrastructure management, and long-term capital development.I hold full accountability for strategic operational planning and execution across both in-house teams and a broad portfolio of outsourced service partners. These include cleaning, waste management, event security, stewarding, traffic logistics, guest experience, and all FM services. I lead and oversee all major redevelopment capital projects, having successfully delivered significant investments including a £2.6M LED campus upgrade, a £2M hospitality product enhancement, and an £11M defect rectification programme.I direct the Energy Management Strategy, responsible for energy forecasting, procurement, risk hedging, and supplier relationships. I maintain and continuously update comprehensive 5, 15, and 25-year lifecycle cost forecasts in close partnership with the Landlord, Shareholders, and the Capital Investment Board, ensuring strategic asset sustainability and financial prudence.Security leadership is a core focus of my role. I own and continually evolve the campus-wide Security Strategy, adapting it proactively to national threat levels and emerging sector-specific risks. I direct all security and risk management planning for every major, high-profile event hosted on site.I manage a suite of budgets totalling over £13M delivering financial discipline and operational excellence. Collaborating closely with fellow directors, I contribute to driving strategic improvements, operational innovation, and supporting board-level decision-making, consistently delivering outstanding outcomes for clients and visitors.
