Early Background:In 1990 I joined Burger King Corporation in the capacity of Engineering Technician within the Equipment R&D department, where for eight years, I tested and validated equipment for various projects. RSI, the Supply Chain Manager for BURGER KING:In November of 1998 I joined RSI’s Equipment & Facilities department as a Purchasing Manager to support in negotiations and implementation of one of the largest single equipment rollouts at the time, which made Burger King® the first QSR brand to offer ICEE products to its customers.I continued on to manage multiple supplier relationships and categories such as playgrounds, O.E.M replacement part program, operations safety equipment, PPE, CCTV security equipment, janitorial supplies and the resupply of all smallwares through distribution channels. Over this period of time, I managed the sourcing and distribution of all national smallware rollouts required for LTO\'s and mandated national programs. Smallwares and light equipment solutions became my specialty in sourcing, contracting and supplier relationship management. My ability to work with BKC and suppliers on design modifications, as well as identifying the best recommendation for supply chain solutions allowed me deliver each program flawlessly for the last 27 years. Most recently, I successfully sourced and managed on-time delivery of a comprehensive smallware package comprised of NEW items needed in support of the national Ch’King™ rollout. This was achieved in an unprecedented four-month time period, all while managing through massive global disruption of supply and distribution of critical items needed for the success of program. I am directly responsible for the managing execution of hundreds smallware rollout since 2001, delivering millions of dollars in direct and annualized savings and allowing RSI to ensure supply at best cost to its members.
