ABOUT EDDIE BERTOLA
Eddie Bertola is a subject matter expert in mass notification strategies, missing person alerts, and engagement with the public during emergencies. He has trained both nationally and internationally on improving the effectiveness of emergency messaging. He worked for the California Highway Patrol for fifteen years, ending his career in the Counterterrorism and Threat Awareness Section as the lead statewide instructor for AMBER Alerts, Blue Alerts, Silver Alerts, and Endangered Missing Advisories. He is an advisory board member of the California Child Abduction Task Force. He has received several awards and commendations throughout his career including a California State Senate Resolution for Distinguished Service. Eddie holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice and a Master\'s Degree in Organizational Leadership.
