As the QAD 2022EE DBA for Shrewsbury, I perform the DBA and setup activities on Red Hat 8.10 servers along with general application support. I write ad-hoc productivity enhancements and interfaces. I have performed major upgrades, taking the site from QAD 2014SE (Red Hat 6) through QAD 2016EE through to QAD 2022EE / OpenEdge 12.8 (Red Hat 8.10). I also migrated an old Eb2 history system into side tables within the custom database of our 2022EE History environment, writing reports and browses to access the data. I rewrote the script engine that controls the EDI and other interfaces to split out environmental data into.env files allowing the same scripts to be shared across multiple servers.
