ABOUT ED WOOD
I\'ve been lucky enough to have had a number of different roles over my career - training and qualifying as a Chartered Accountant at KPMG, then spending 10+ years working on Financial Systems for a number of companies, then moving to HBOS (now Lloyds Banking Group) in 2004. I\'ve had a number of roles in the bank - mainly based within Retail Savings - but also having exposure to Mortgages, Investments, Business Banking, Wealth and Commercial.Most recently, I\'m now a senior manager in the Performance and Market Insight team - helping the different product areas get closer to how competitors are performing - and the market is changing - as well as getting involved in ad hoc analysis generated by the Retail board.Outside of work - I\'m also proud to have cycled Lands End to Jon o\'Groats, completed the Coast to Coast walk, broken a proper Guinness World Record (twice)- and been a racecourse bookmaker.
