Ed Stewart brings more than three decades of leadership and management experience from the U.S. and international government affairs sector. Ed specializes in strategic advice and daily advocacy on complex business, trade, foreign policy, and political matters.His primary fields of expertise are Washington foreign and trade policy, business transaction and political risk assessment (including politically unstable nations), congressional procedure and policymaking (especially committees dealing with tax, commerce, judiciary, trade, and foreign affairs), Executive Branch procedure and policymaking (particularly the Departments of State and Treasury, the White House, and National Security Council), multilateral organizations (UN, World Bank, IMF, ASEAN, EU), foreign diplomatic missions and procedure, strategic message development, and U.S. and foreign electoral politics.Ed has a proven track record of working across the aisle, building coalitions and third-party allies, and fostering understanding and compromise among varied stakeholders, both foreign and domestic.
