ABOUT ED SENNETT
After graduating from The University of Edinburgh with a 2:1 in Economics, I qualified as a chartered accountant with BDO in Edinburgh in the audit department. There I enjoyed exposure to a variety of sectors from manufacturers and energy companies to charities and pension funds. There I also gained experience preparing statutory financial statements including consolidated accounts, primarily FRS 102.I particularly enjoyed working on renewable energy engagements and so in 2019 I joined EY where I gained significant experience working on the Renewables division of a FTSE 30 company. Whilst at EY I also worked on a PE-backed data analytics start up, a labelling business and a large CGM distributor.I now work as Senior Project Accountant at BayWa r.e. UK, working on renewable energy projects in Scotland!
