Ed has come to understand the many levels of rural property – such as the difference between mineral rights, water rights, and surface rights. Over thirty years in this field has given him the expertise to handle everything from neighborhood developments to large scale ranching and farming plans. He has proven that land development doesn’t have to equal destruction of wild life habitat; an example of good planning being the Poudre River Ranch project in West Greeley. Orr Land donated one hundred acres with 2 miles of Cache La Poudre River frontage providing public access to the natural habit of the river corridor to help keep the open space design and allow for a positive transition from “country” to “city”.His strong ties to family and to the Northern Colorado area have developed Orr Land into a close knit real estate family of their own. They are a united front in helping their clients understand the many implications of surface, mineral, water right agreements and exchanges when dealing with rural property real estate transactions.
