About Ed Mullins
In my current role as Regional Vice President for Project Control I am helping our company further expand our presence in Austin, including establishing a permanent office there. Over the past five years I’ve served in a project management role on numerous multi-million dollar projects in education, emergency operations centers, libraries and other commercial projects. I am especially proud of our work on the Bexar Metro 911 Call Center (PSAP),Texas Organ Sharing Alliance office complex and Robert and Sue McCoy Student Housing projects.I currently work in Austin and San Antonio, but my focus is on supporting the Austin marketplace, and I will move there when our new office is fully established. One of my most interesting current projects includes supporting the redevelopment of the Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary Wright Learning and Information Center. Project Control is a leader in providing Owner’s Representative, Program and Project Management services. In my 30+ year career I\'ve had a wide range of experiences from being an electrician, bio-medical technician, facilities manager (both in health care and public education), and senior project manager in the construction industry. I\'m a highly motivated and focused team leader, knowledgeable in managing projects, solving problems, and completing projects on time and within budget.I graduated from Purdue University with an associates of science degree in electrical engineering technology. I\'m a Certified Professional Constructor from the American Institute of Constructors, a designated Design Build Professional from the Design Build Institute of America and a LEED Accredited Professional.I\'ve made many contributions to the local community through my service. I’ve formally served on the following; South Texas CEFPI (Council of Educational Facility Planners International) Board of Directors and San Antonio AGC Education Committee. Additionally, I\'m a member of the LEAN Executive Course Team, which is assisting in the development of the curriculum for the AGC LEAN certification courses. I also teach these unit classes at the local AGC chapter.
