Ed´s experience includes board level disputes, discrimination, whistleblowing, TUPE, collective consultation, trade union issues, immigration and the employment-related aspects of mergers and acquisitions and insolvencies.Ed´s recent work includes:* defending race discrimination, unfair dismissal and whistleblowing claims brought in the Employment Tribunal by a dismissed employee * advising a in relation to a collective consultation process arising on proposed changes to employment terms and conditions * negotiating exit terms for a departing board level executive director * advising an employer on complex change of control arrangements for its executive team * advising on the TUPE aspects of the purchase of a business in administration Ed’s recent seminar presentations have included agency workers, the new Equality Act and TUPE. Ed also runs training sessions for HR and in-house legal teams and managers on topics such as disciplinary issues, discrimination and restrictive covenants. Ed is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and the European Employment Lawyers Association.
