   Led in the successful implementation of SOC 1 compliance, specifically operational business controls- Implemented and executed a sustainable internal control monitoring framework, resulting in enhanced assurance and early detection of deficiencies for senior leadership- Oversee a comprehensive deficiency remediation program, ensuring a proactive approach to control effectiveness- Lead and manage Greenhouse Gas (GHG) calculation process (including data collection, calculation quality reviews, external audit management, etc- Regularly reporting to the Executive Committee, providing valuable insights and updates on SOC compliance- Developed the role from an individual contributor to now leading an Internal Controls team, responsible for managing SOC compliance, Greenhouse Gas Calculation and Reporting Compliance, assisting with supporting the organization as needed related to business controls, and providing general support for internal control related initiatives and special projects- Formalized and positioned the Internal Controls team as the second line of defense in the three lines of risk defense model, continuing to solidify our role in safeguarding organizational compliance and strategic initiatives
