Guide the integration of New York Life’s various Corporate Communications efforts into a cohesive, teamwide strategic plan that’s easily executed, measured and integrated with GenAI tools.• Serve as a member of the Chief Communications Officer’s Senior Leadership Team.• Lead day-to-day crisis communications. • For GenAI efforts, lead efforts to identify and gain approvals to implement tools as well as oversee the department\'s AI prompt library, best practices guide and learning path.• Supporting several dept. agentic AI projects that are in their infancy. • Led the process of creating and launching an updated, and largely expanded, enterprise external communications policy and related deliverables.• Increased the scope, and expanded the content, of various crisis communications playbooks — for the team and other company groups. • Drafted the scenario for the team’s 2024 post-election crisis comms. drill. A version of this scenario, with company information removed, has been leveraged across industries via best practice sharing groups for senior communications leaders. • Led the team’s efforts to conduct proof-of-concept testing for five key GenAI tools during 2024 and onboard three of them during 2025, including coordination with Technology and other company AI-review groups.• Serve as a member of the team’s External Communications Center of Excellence.• Acted as liaison to the company\'s Continuous Improvement (CI) group for our team\'s CI Lite deployment and currently working as the lead for our Sustainability phase.• CO-led the department’s “Improving How We Operate” work stream, which launched approximately 20 active efforts to streamline, simplify and standardize processes. • Day-to-day lead for department budget matters.• Co-led the creation of the department’s first style guide.
