   First Steris Endoscopy Packaging Engineer hire.• Identified all Packaging raw material components, component specs, and suppliers to aid with design decisions.• Responsible for 110+ Packaging components that are used in 300+ finished goods SKUs.• Revised and standardized all Packaging component drawings for common nomenclature, notes, image views, and dimension/tolerance accuracy.• Responsible for Packaging designs, documentation, supplier selection, and implementation for all New Product Development projects and many Sustaining Engineering projects.• Created ~400 TOPS Pro stacking analyses to assist with product design and warehousing decisions.• Assisted with 3 major Sterile Packaging Validation projects in 2013, 2019, and one just started in 2025.• Investigated equipment options, coordinated purchases, and assisted with the implementation of 2 medical peel pouch baggers that processed Tyvek tube-stock, defined overall pouch length, created Chevron and horizontal seals, and printed product info and scannable barcodes onto the Tyvek side of the pouches. • Assisted various teams with product ship tests using ISTA 2A, ISTA 3A, and ASTM D4169 standard tests.• Investigated and coordinated the purchase of 2 test machines for the local Steris Reliability Lab…one an L.A.B. Accudrop Drop Tester, and the other a Lansmont Squeezer Compression Tester.• Investigated and coordinated purchases of 2 Belco medical grade tray sealers and associated seal fixtures for Tyvek lidded new product thermoformed trays.• Assisted as needed with production, warehouse, supplier, or quality issues associated with Packaging components or systems. • Maintained 2D facility drawings and initial layouts for the new Engineering Tech Center.
