As a UAS domain expert, my most recent work has been on advanced technologies. I serve in an intrapreneurial role in developing multiple start up style internal projects. I have been leading an engineering team focusing on User Experience (UX) in future designs. I am also working projects to incorporate Artificial Intelligence (AI) to automate UAV operations. Over the years I have been a key member of the team that has developed the MQ-1 and MQ-9 series aircraft have revolutionized air warfare, forever changing how the United States of America fights wars. I have flown the aircraft on operational missions for various US and International customers at numerous worldwide locations serving in multiple combat zones. As a United States Air Force (USAF) rated Instructor Pilot, I have trained initial qualification company and customer pilots on the MQ-1 aircraft. As an USAF rated Standardization Evaluation Flight Examiner (SEFE) I have evaluated company pilots for initial qualification and annual checkrides. As an MQ-1 and MQ-9 experimental test pilot I have participated in numerous flight test projects over the lifetime of these aircraft. I have worked as a liaison between flight operations and engineering improving aircraft and software design to optimize them for operational suitability. I am current and qualified (LR/MCE) MQ-9 pilot deploying regularly to maintain involvement in current MQ-9 operations.
