I am a Chartered civil engineer and Chartered project manager (ChPP MAPM) with over 25 years’ experience of the design, management, and construction of civil engineering and infrastructure schemes.I have principally worked for UK based engineering consultancies but also for client and contractor organisations either directly or through secondments. Starting out on water projects I developed my understanding and experience in the contract administration, design and site supervision on a range of schemes across the UK. After 10 years in the water industry I made the decision to pursue my interest in the renewables sector and project managed the delivery of onshore windfarm schemes in the UK and Eastern Europe. Most recently I have undertaken the client-side project management duties in the delivery of rail, flood alleviation, highway and aviation schemes across the North West. As an accredited NEC project manager I have manged the ECC contracts for many of these projects.
