About Ed Hollifield
Mr. Hollifield has over 32 years of experience as a geologist in environmental consulting, performing work largely for private sector industrial clients as well as State and local governments. Ed\'s technical experience includes geologic and hydrogeologic aspects of subsurface investigations associated with contaminant migration at a variety of industrial sites impacted with petroleum, chlorinated solvents and metals using conventional and hi-resolution site characterization methodologies. Mr. Hollifield has extensive experience in, RCRA and CERCLA style site assessments, mapping and modeling of soil, soil-gas and groundwater contaminant plumes in a variety of geologic conditions under state and federal regulatory programs. For his clients, Mr. Hollifield brings to bear significant experience in Feasibility Studies, Remedial Alternatives Evaluations/Corrective Measures Studies and has selected, designed and implemented many soil, groundwater and vapor intrusion remedies. Ed has experience with subsurface depressurization systems, air-sparge / soil vapor extraction, groundwater pump and treat (P&T), passive reactive barriers, in-situ chemical oxidation (ISCO), bioremediation, engineered phytoremediation, metals removal and stabilization. Additionally, Ed has extensive experience with due diligence supporting commercial / industrial portfolio acquisitions/dispositions specifically with developing potential environmental liability and project life cycle costs at complex sites.
