An experienced Chartered Engineer, I have built my career on a pragmatic, collaborative approach to problem solving. I take pride in developing strong working relationships with customers and other organisations, and have gained a reputation for delivering practical solutions that balance differing viewpoints.Although my career has principally been spent in the defence nuclear programme, I have held roles that have given me a breadth of knowledge, from detailed technical engineering to commercial negotiation, applicable to a variety of sectors. I enjoy the technical engineering challenges of working in the nuclear industry, particularly in my current role providing robust, proportionate and effective nuclear safety advice that balances adherence to relavent standards with the customer’s operational demands.
