With a comprehensive background in carpentry encompassing joinery, cabinet making, shop fitting, site carpentry, and general building, I’ve steadily progressed through various roles since my education, continuously expanding my construction and safety expertise. Transitioning from hands-on work to leadership positions, I’ve evolved from a tradesperson to a foreman, site manager, senior project manager and recently taken on the next step in my career as the head of contracts, leveraging my extensive experience and leadership skills to drive success in project management and contractual obligations. This journey has exposed me to diverse building techniques and systems, enabling me to effectively oversee a wide range of projects. Throughout my career, I’ve specialized not only in the education sector but also in commercial, residential, care home, and MOD contracts. This diverse experience has honed my ability to adapt to various project requirements and regulatory frameworks, ensuring successful outcomes across different sectors. Whether it’s overseeing construction projects in live school environments, bustling commercial settings, or specialized care facilities, I thrive on the dynamic challenges that the construction industry presents.
