About Ed Davidson

I’m a scientist and founder of Insight Therapeutics, LLC, where I work with academic and industry partners to conduct pragmatic clinical research focused on improving care for older adults. Our team’s work centers on generating real-world evidence that is rigorous, practical, and useful in long-term care and post-acute settings. Over the years, I’ve coordinated clinical trials in nursing facilities, supported data safety monitoring efforts, conducted secondary analyses of nursing home data, and collaborated on large-scale pragmatic trials across the U.S, including infectious-disease studies in long-term care. I’ve also spent much of my career in scholarly publishing, including more than two decades with The Senior Care Pharmacist, where I served as Editor-in-Chief, and serving as a peer reviewer for biomedical journals, especially those with a geriatric-specific focus. My leadership style is collaborative and steady. I value listening closely, making decisions grounded in evidence, and helping teams move forward with clarity and purpose. At the core, my work is about connecting people, evidence, and practice to meaningfully improve care for older adults.
