Living in Rutland since 2003 with my wife Charlotte and sons Charlie & WilliamLatest challenge building and opening the first Wildhive hotel - Callow Hall in Derbyshire. This comes after running Barnsdale Lodge Ltd. for 17 years, having previously spent 6 years building The Priory Bay Hotel, Isle of Wight with Andrew Palmer (Founder of New Covent Garden Soup Company).I have a total of 30 years experience in the hospitality industry ranging from 3 star hotels to Michelin star restaurants.I am proud to hold the post of Deputy Lieutenant, supporting the work carried out by the Lord Lieutenant of Rutland, Dr Sarah Furness.My other charitable positions are; Trustee for Somerleyton Estate, Ambassador for the Rutland Tourism Board “Discover Rutland” and President of the RNLI Rutland/Melton Mowbray branch.Interests are; Sailing, Countryside Pursuits, Family, Food and Wine.
