About Ed Britt

I have been involved with sports my entire life, from playing soccer at the age of five to collegiate football at the division 1 level. I grew to love everything about the nature and business of sports. This involves the team environment, competitive nature, diversity, and the operations that make all of this possible. Over the past 6 years, I have cultivated skills by working with various sports organizations and expanded my knowledge while also receiving my B.S. in Sociology from Presbyterian College and M.S. in Sport and Fitness Administration from Winthrop University. I look forward to growing and expanding my knowledge while adding my value and expertise to make the world of sports & entertainment better than before. Let’s connect and grow!

   Charlotte Hornets

   Sep 2023 — Present

   Execute game and event presentation logistics for Charlotte Hornets home games and special events throughout Spectrum Center arena• Manage pre-game court rehearsals with Hive TV host(s), anthems, color guard, external talent, and Hive Entertainment• Organize the run of show back of house from pre-game to post-game with groups of up to 100+ individuals including Hive Entertainment groups, external talent, and fan experience programs• Coordinate upcoming live shots in the production tunnel for Hive TV hosts, on-court performances, fan contests, check presentations, and special guest recognitions
