Phoenix Elevate is a civic non-profit organization whose mission is to develop long term life changing relationships with urban youth. Phoenix Elevate is partnered with the phoenix union school district which encompasses youths. Students in the Elevate program boast a 98% graduation rate, compared to the state average of 74%. Phoenix Elevate employs certified teacher mentors that teach accredited curriculum at no cost to the school district. The students who attend the high school Elevate class in turn teach at their local junior high schools. The junior high students in the Elevate program then share the class lessons with grade school students, resulting in a first grade to high school pipeline for Elevate in the school system. Elevate also provides transportation for after school activities for the students through the teacher mentors which provides a 24 hour 7 day a week relationship with the students. Phoenix Elevate accomplishes this through strong partnerships with the government, private sector, business, corporate sponsorships, and sports organizations.
