In this role, I am responsible for the line management of a team of 8 engineers, split across two critical business areas: DevOps and Technology Enablement.I provide day-to-day leadership, performance management, and mentoring to ensure high-quality delivery and professional development across the team. My DevOps team focuses on automation, CI/CD, and platform reliability, while the Technology Enablement function is responsible for internal tooling, improving engineering efficiency, and streamlining developer experience across the wider organisation.I come from a strong technical background, which allows me to fully understand the technical asks and challenges at a high level. This ensures I can provide meaningful guidance, unblock issues quickly, and effectively bridge technical requirements with business priorities.I work closely with stakeholders across multiple departments to align team objectives with wider business goals, drive continuous improvement, and maintain high standards in operational performance and delivery.I have the following key skills to support this role:• Strong leadership and line management experience across cross-functional technical teams• Excellent stakeholder management and communication across all levels• In-depth knowledge of DevOps principles and tooling (CI/CD, IaC, monitoring)• Experience driving internal enablement and process improvement initiatives• Understanding of agile delivery methodologies and cross-team collaboration• Proven ability to build and maintain high-performing, motivated teams• Ability to engage in technical conversations and decisions with deep context and understanding
