About Elissa Buchalter
Seattle-based artist and interior designer Elissa Buchalter creates murals and paintings that explore the relationships between memory, place, and visual form. With a background in both fine art and spatial design, her work blends bold abstraction, complex color, and architectural sensitivity to transform environments into immersive, narrative-driven spaces. Elissa holds an MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art and a BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art, and has been awarded a Fulbright Research Grant to India and artist residencies in Ireland and New York.
