Hi! I\'m so glad you\'re here! Here are some random facts about me you won\'t find on my resume- Both of my parents were Marines, so I grew up all over the U.S, and in Okinawa, Japan- I\'m a volunteer glacial climbing instructor, and I summit Eldorado Peak, Mt. Baker, and Mt. Rainier every year- I\'m a stand-up comedian and a pun slam champion- I was a radio DJ for 4 years (DJ E.T. playing tunes that\'re outta this world!)

1. Outreach Specialist

   Wounded Warrior Project

   Jan 2024 — Present · Tacoma, WA, US

   Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of an average of 72 events every year, covering four states (Washington, Idaho, Montana, Oregon) with at least unique engagements with veterans and their family members• Coordinate logistics for events—budgets, venues, permits, vendors, staffing, and promotional materials. Submit contracts and purchase orders as needed• Establish deep connections with veterans, their families, and the community (non-profits, local VAs, colleges, etc.) with the goal of combating isolation and bettering lives for veterans and their families• Serve as a brand ambassador at a minimum of 24 outreach events each year to promote Wounded Warrior Project and register eligible veterans• Serve as keynote speaker in many public speaking engagements to promote the organization in front of crowds of 10-200 people• Identify, form, and maintain relationships with local non-profits and community partners
