ABOUT EBONY MARIE ROSALIE DOUGLIN
For over 19 and a half years, I have dedicated my career to following my passion for supporting children and young people across the London Borough of Hackney. I currently serve as a Youth Worker and Level 3 Playworker at Shakespeare Walk Adventure Playground, where I strive to create a safe, inclusive, and inspiring environment that empowers young people to express themselves, build confidence, and overcome the challenges they face in their everyday lives.Throughout my journey, I have continuously invested in my personal and professional growth, completing a wide range of training and qualifications covering mental health, safeguarding, domestic violence, diversity, and gambling and gaming awareness. These achievements have enabled me to become a Certified Advanced Children, Youth, and Family Social Worker (C-CYFSW), a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDCES), and a Mental Health First Aider for both Adults and Young People.My experience has also deepened my understanding of cultural and economic diversity, violence against women and girls, and the complexities of adolescent development. I remain passionate about lifelong learning and dedicated to applying my expertise to make a lasting difference in the lives of children, young people, and families within the Hackney community and beyond.
