ABOUT EBONY JONES TATE

With over a decade of experience in government Budgeting and Finance. procurement,and contract administration. I am now the IT Business Manager within Business Operations at Mecklenburg County. As the Business Manager I oversee the Operating budget, Performance Managements within this department as well as the management of the Valerie C Woodard conference centerI also manage the departments procurement card program, monitor vendor spending and utilization, and assist with Strategic Planning to optimize the budget processes and outcomes, and to support the county’s mission and vision. I have a master\'s degree in public administration and a bachelor\'s degree in political science and government, which provide me with a solid foundation for my role. er. I am also a Certified Procurement Professional (CPP) from NIGP: The Institute for Public Procurement, a credential that demonstrates my knowledge, skills, and ethical standards in the public procurement field.
