ABOUT EBONY CRANDLE
My name is Ebony Crandle, and I am originally from San Diego, California. Currently, I live in Los Angeles and am going into my Senior year at the University of Southern California, studying Business Administration with a minor in Real Estate Development. I am interested in working in the real estate industry due to its versatility, which offers a dynamic range of opportunities from property development to investment strategies, allowing for an enriching professional experience. Furthermore, I am very passionate about principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion, and as a historically exclusive industry, real estate has much potential to flourish in this sector. My passion for DEI principles was the catalyst for starting my professional journey in high school. To combat the political ignorance I perceived in my community during the height of the Black Lives Matter protests in 2020, I started a political blog. Within this blog, I spread awareness on issues of injustice that people of color were facing around the country. Additionally, I began a social justice organization known as Voices of the Unheard with my peers in an effort to uplift marginalized voices through blog and social media posts. I complemented this work by volunteering at organizations such as the BIPOC Support Foundation and the ACLU, which were incredible opportunities as they allowed me to give back to my community and immerse myself in the diversity I once lacked. As I continue my journey at USC and beyond, I am eager to merge my passion for real estate with my commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. I look forward to contributing to an industry that not only builds communities but also champions inclusivity and equity for all. Through continued learning, leadership, and advocacy, I aim to drive meaningful change in the real estate sector, making it more accessible and representative of the diverse world we live in.Please reach out with any questions. I look forward to connecting!
