I am an entry level professional with experience as a virtual recruiter where I specialized in recruitment methods and interview techniques for candidates. During my internship, I learned how to recruit using platforms such as LinkedIn, JoinHandShake, and Facebook. My educational background in Psychology led me to concentrate in I/O Psychology and pursue a career in Human Resources so that I can not only work with individuals, but also support the organization as a whole. I am aPHR certified which taught me about the federal policies in place to protect employees throughout various stages of their employment. My aPHR certification also furthered my recruiting knowledge about applicant databases and effective strategies for after a job offer is made. My professional goal is to work towards a role as an HR Specialist and then become an HR Director. I am seeking an opportunity in an organization that is inclusive, will provide a great work-life balance, and nurture my professional development while allowing me to be an asset through my experience and perspective.
