About Ebere Chimezie
Prior to starting up Linkpetro Services Limited and Mezie Consulting, Ebere Chimezie spent 27 years in the oil and gas industry, of which 24 years was with Royal Dutch Shell. Ebere’s core expertise is in leading and delivering complex, high risk subsea and offshore oil & gas projects and ventures.One of his previous project delivery roles was Project Manager of a portfolio of deepwater subsea projects in the US Gulf of Mexico with total Capex exceeding US$0.5bln. Additionally, as Subsea Manager in Brazil and Malaysia, he led several offshore and subsea projects in those regions, with total combined Capex exceeding US1.0bln. In a another role as Asset Manager, Midstream Gas Pipelines (USA), Ebere managed a gas pipeline business, including having P&L, HSSE, asset integrity, and operations accountabilities. He started his oil/gas career in Nigeria where he spent 8 years as facilities engineer for several oil/gas projects. He holds degrees in Civil Engineering (BSc.) Marine/Subsea Technology (MSc.) and Business Administration (MBA).In addition to his role at Linkpetro, Ebere provides independent consulting and advisory services to clients around the world.
