About Ebenezer Appiah
As a second year student at Regis University pursuing a degree in Economics and Public Policy, my interest lies in the use of quantitative economic tools to inform qualitative observations both in industry and policy. I aim to translate my undergraduate studies into either a research led policy field or direct ground work through developmental NGO initiatives. Treasurer and Co-founder of a 501(c)(3) non-profit debate organization designed to provide accessible coaching services to low-income competitors.Since our inception, we have provided instruction to over 300+ students across 2 continents (North America and Asia) and 5 countries (USA, Mexico, Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia)I cover a wide range of responsibilities including administrative tasks such as coordinating outreach amongst volunteers, creating student/volunteer schedules, and providing student services. As Treasurer I track and document all income and expenses through a balance sheet and invoices.During our 2 week camp hosted typically in late July, I serve as 1 of 2 Debate Curriculum Coordinators planning day-by-day camp curriculum, recording presentation material for students, and providing live coaching, judging, and office hours.
