ABOUT EBBA BOURGHARDT

A multifaceted professional in Communications and Project Management, I have broad experience within entrepreneurial, academic and non-profit environments. My work experience has ranged from the Head of Communications for Caritas Sweden, Project Management within the event industry, trainer and facilitator in a range of professional and academic settings, and Project and Press Management for the Nobel Prize Week. I am currently working with Program and Event Coordination at the Nobel Foundation as Relations Manager. As a Communicator, I bring an academic’s inquiring mind, with a solutions oriented approach. With extensive experience in training and coaching, I take a collaborative approach to improving outcomes for my clients and teams, and enjoy leading and inspiring the change process. I think big, while always keeping an eye on the details. Diversity, ethics, and women’s health are areas of personal and career interest. I am inspired and humbled by people’s personal stories, and always seek to learn from my interactions. Whether Nobel Prize laureates, new mothers, or struggling youth, one of my strengths is an ability to establish trust and respectful dialogue. I have a Master’s Degree in Aesthetic Disciplines and Ethnology from Stockholm University, and have also studied journalism and communications. My international outlook comes in large part from having lived in number of different countries, and I speak English, Portuguese and French, in addition to my native Swedish. I am a mother of 4, a marathon runner, and an avid Francophile.
