About Erin Voltz
Erin Voltz started her career at Boeing as a Materials and Processes engineer gaining valuable expertise on manned space programs and NASA requirements. Her primary responsibilities involved support on ECLSS and development projects associated with the International Space Station and Starliner programs. Erin served as the M&P focal for manned space environmental control systems, fluid systems (including propellants, oxygen, and thermal control fluids), module-level flammability assessments, general M&P support (corrosion, stress corrosion, material selection, etc) and requirement verification for M&P. During this time, she also led the team in propellant compatible material selection, analysis, and testing for a variety of hypergols. In her first formal leadership role, Erin was responsible for managing the excellent and technically rigorous ISS Specialty Engineering team which supports NASA\'s International Space Station program in the areas of M&P, Parts, and Space Environments. Currently, she is serving as senior manager of the BR & T teams supporting the SLS program in Florida, Alabama and Louisiana. Outside of engineering and leadership work, Erin takes an active interest in sharing her technical and programmatic knowledge with new engineers. Erin is involved in the site\'s Jumpstart mentoring program and is an active member in Boeing Women in Leadership (BWIL) and the local Society of Women Engineers (SWE) and Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering (SAMPE) organizations. She has a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado and a Masters in Engineering Management from Johns Hopkins.
