With over a decade of experience in academic advising, I currently serve as the Graduate Academic Advisor IV for the Materials Science & Engineering program at Texas A&M University. I guide students through every stage of their graduate journey—from application to graduation.My role is equal parts navigator, communicator, and advocate. I specialize in academic advising, student affairs, and administrative coordination, managing everything from admissions and recruitment to registration, degree plans, probation, exams, and curriculum. I also serve on several departmental and college-level committees, including Graduate Student Awards, Graduate Exams, Curriculum, Admissions & Recruitment, Assessment, Scholarships, and the College of Engineering Graduate Instruction Committee.What sets my approach apart is a commitment to clarity, kindness, and collaboration. I work closely with faculty, staff, and students to foster a supportive environment where students can thrive academically and professionally. Whether it’s helping a student understand degree requirements, troubleshooting a complex process, or navigating personal challenges, I bring a thoughtful, solutions-oriented mindset to every interaction.I’m passionate about empowering graduate students in the field of materials science.
