About Easton Sckerl

I am a second-year MBA/MSA dual degree candidate at Ohio University interested in sports operations, facilities, and event management. My passion for sports outlives even my own memory, so I am very excited to be in a position that prepares me to step into the industry upon graduation. Lincoln, Nebraska, was my home for the past four years as I pursued a bachelor\'s degree in Biological sciences, with minors in both Mathematics and Physics. Extracurricular from my studies, I worked with the men\'s basketball team, was heavily involved with Dance Marathon, and was a proud member of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. My path was not carved overnight, rather, it has been fluid and dynamic. I am thrilled to have had the opportunity to explore so many different areas, and I believe that through all of my experiences, I have learned how to be a great listener and fast learner.

1. Assistant Coordinator for Events & Sport Operations

   Ohio Athletics

   Jul 2025 — Present · Athens, OH, US

   As an Assistant Coordinator for Events and Sport Operations, I help lead stadium operations for Ohio Football, including the record-breaking sellout vs. West Virginia. I supervise event staffing, coordinate full stadium setup and teardown with senior leadership, and support operations throughout the winter sports seasons. I also serve as the operations lead for Baseball and Field Hockey, managing gameday logistics across staffing, officials, visiting teams, and facility readiness while collaborating with coaching staffs and event officials to ensure efficient timelines and a professional experience for athletes and fans.
