ABOUT EDIE ASSINEWE

I am currently in TD\'s Marketing Undergraduate Leadership Program, which spans 2 years with 4 rotations to develop skills and experience in marketing. As a Marketing Associate at TD, I have demonstrated a track record of success in driving impactful campaigns and strategic initiatives on the following teams: Core Brand, Affinity Marketing Group, Corporate Citizenship and Agency 361. I graduated from Toronto Metropolitan University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Commerce in Retail Management. As a 3x returning student in TD\'s Indigenous Internship Program, I contributed significantly to the organization. In the summer of 2021, I planned Employee Appreciation Week and managed a weekly newsletter for employees during my tenure on the Colleague Engagement team. In the summer of 2020, I led recognition programs to recognize TDI colleagues, enhancing my project management, internal communications, and organizational skills while on the Practice Management team. SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS: iD8 Year-End Virtual Celebration (TD Insurance, Practice Management iD8): Orchestrated a virtual celebration for ~100 iD8 Heroes, implementing innovative ideas. Advertising Optimization Project (TD Insurance, Affinity Marketing Group): Reviewed 2019 advertising for AMG partners, suggesting a strategy to reduce costs by KEY PROJECTS: • Developed a millennial sales associate strategy for Louis Vuitton, including recruitment, motivation, and retention. • Analyzed engagement of User Generated Content on @McCafeCanada\'s Instagram, recommending a new campaign for improved engagement. • Collaborated with Red Bull and Petro-Canada to reduce channel and category blurring, providing recommendations based on pricing, assortment, and promotion. Passionate about my Indigenous culture, I co-founded Assinewe Jewelry, specializing in beadwork and clay jewelry, launching our website and collection on August 1st.
