Asher\'s current responsibilities include market research of current and future space systems technologies to ensure technical relevance to client needs, evaluation of current market trends and strategic partnerships to further add value to client offerings. Focus is on space flight payloads and/or space systems.Prior to this role, Asher was responsible for new business capture and proposal activities for the IT, Cyber, and Intelligence business segment and pursued a number of opportunities within the US Federal Government sector. Having spent his first 13 years in the aerospace and defense industry, he has proactively taken on challenges of increasing responsibility and complexity in the areas of technical leadership, software development and project management. As the Skill Lead for the Jacobs Control Dynamics team, he was responsible for hiring, performance appraisals and strategic team development.Asher is a passionate self starter that is able to see a need and develop a unique solution to solve that need while operating on time and on budget. His attention to detail translates into robust solutions that provide real value to the customer. He possesses 13 years of experience developing software solutions, in various languages, through the entire software life-cycle and with a flexible design approach to accommodate changing requirements. The aerospace and defense industry has very stringent design requirements that must be met under all circumstances which requires significant attention to detail.He has experience with software development process standards such as CMMI, AS9100 and ISO. Software language experience includes Matlab, C/C++, perl, HTML, CSS, SQL/MySQL, Python, C#/VB ASP.Net and Linux/UNIX shell scripting. Asher is a proactive fast learner and regularly learns new languages in order to solve new problems as necessary.
