About Earlyn Reinhardt

First of all, welcome to my LinkedIn profile! I am a data scientist who is passionate about discovering patterns, building models, and answering hard questions with data. If I were to sum up in one word for why I love this field it would be innovation. The constant pioneering that is driven by curiosity and determination has brought about countless clever and novel (sometimes revolutionary) solutions. Now one problem can be solved with multiple algorithms, many of which I have used, such as good old-fashion linear regression, reliable random forests, slow but powerful gradient boosting machines, and magically cryptic neural nets. My current topics of interest are NLP, Bayesian networks, and RNNs. The main tools I use to learn about and experiment with the aforementioned models are Python, R, and various flavors of SQL. I also use Python to utilize various APIs such as Google Ads, Twitter, Azure, and NREL. When productionizing my code, I follow standard practices of software development, such as writing tightly scoped unit tests and defensive code for edge cases.
