   Earl Broussard was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in poverty, the illegitimate son of an itinerant family of Spanish moss collectors that wandered the swamps of Louisiana, looking for seasonal work. Shoeless till his tenth birthday, the true Date of his birth unknown, but generally believed to have occurred sometime before the Korean War. Colicky, irritating as an infant…Earl’s parents would move to New Orleans when he was 18 months old to try to get away from him, and often longed for their very own “Cajun child dump” type opportunity for him, according to individuals who were acquainted with the early Broussard family and who found Earl equally agitating. After infancy, Earl became seventeen. Not too many years later, he turned twenty. It would be many, many years, however, before he was 50. His current age is an unreliable “ring count” estimate. Don’t worry about it. Earl worked the Cajun Rodeo Circuit wrestling alligators seemingly since the Pleistocene Epoch. He was employed by a circus after his father begged an acquaintance, and part owner of the company, to help get Earl out of the pool halls where he hustled nine ball. Earl spends most of his free time plotting the perfect murder for those people who spend too much time reading social media!
