As the COO of The Hamilton Law Association I guided the development and implementation of the corporate vision, developed new lines of business, negotiated client contracts, set and communicated the long-term direction of the firm, as well as monitored and managed all progress towards goals. I also ensured that objectives and tasks were aligned with regulatory and legal requirements.I provided direct management for all internal, operational and external vendor functions and supported the external marketing and partnership relationships developed by the Senior Attorney/Owner. My responsibilities and accomplishments included, but were not limited to:• Managing the Firm’s operations and 46 staff member staff across two regional offices;• Developing, in conjunction with the Senior Management, staff corporate policies, systems and procedures that governed work interactions and set the accountability standards for all attorneys and staff in dual locations;• Creating a positive work environment that encouraged teamwork, cooperation, collaboration, institutional learning and a positive “work-life” balance between and among all staff in both offices.
