About Eric Moorman

Eric is the Technical Development Manager at CFS NA. In his role Eric supports the CFS internal Microbiology Team, the Technical Development Team, the Food Safety and Sanitation Consulting team, and also executes CFS Sanitation and Hygienic Design Assessments. Prior to CFS, Eric served as the Corporate Manager of Food Safety and Scientific Affairs at Butterball. In this role Eric supported Butterball\'s manufacturing plants by conducting in plant antimicrobial and process modification validation studies, as well as responding to issues related to microbiological process control, sanitation, and environmental monitoring. He, and others, also investigated new technologies that can be used for the detection, prevention, and control of foodborne pathogens, both within manufacturing plants and on farms. Eric completed his Master\'s degree in Ph.D. in Food Science from North Carolina State University, with a research focus on Food Safety Microbiology
