Negotiating music content licenses and new product functionality for Spotify with major music labels (owners of the music rights)- Acting as a primary point of contact for Spotify’s largest major label partner- Creating and delivering presentations on licensing strategy to senior management, both internally and at major music labels- Working with Spotify’s Finance and Accounting teams to analyze the cost of music content licenses prior to negotiating new deal terms- Collaborating with Spotify’s Legal teams to draft term sheets and long form contracts- Liaising with Spotify’s R&D, Product and Content teams to understand what licenses are needed before Spotify launches new products and services- Partnering with other Content departments such as Label Relations, Artist Services, Content Insights, Content Ops and our International Managers to ensure that label deals are consistent with company objectives.
