My role is to support, develop, manage and implement Hilton’s MEP and Fire Life Safety Brand standards for new and conversion hotels for the EMEA estate. I\'m responsible for the maintenance of current and up-to-date copies of all Design and Construction standards in relation to engineering and fire life safety for all brands. My role involves the review of building engineering services drawings and specifications across multiple projects in EMEA including new build developments, refurbishments, property improvement plans and CAPEX projects. I liaise with the company’s Area Operations Engineering team to review the performance of new hotels once these become operational, and use feedback to improve/optimise the design schemes of future hotel projects. Achievements • Within 3 months of joining Hilton I was given control of all projects across Russia & CIS due to its fast growth. Successfully clearing the backlog, I\'ve opened 3-5 hotels in this region yearly since. • Around 2017 I took control of all French projects. There are currently 21 in design & construction with 8 openings forecasted for 2023. • Successfully provided Engineering Support to over 124 Hilton branded hotel openings and currently in control of over 45 hotel projects in design and construction. • Directly responsible for mentoring new Engineers and sponsored my fellow Senior Engineering Manager with their application to become Chartered with CIBSE.
