As safety lead I am the chairman of the safety committee. This includes conducting and leading monthly meetings and the implementation of safety topics to all our employees. As well, I oversee all safety audits that take place and verify we are up to local, state, and federal standards. As the continuous improvement lead I have taken multiple steps to improve machine efficiencies and product quality throughout the plant. A big portion of the corrugated industry is also the mitigation of waste throughout our plant. While not working in the design operations, I am more focused on working with our associates to better understand the pitfalls in day to day operations that can be repurposed and lower the amount of product waste.
