ABOUT EAMON DRUMM

I\'m a research fellow at the German Marshall Fund of the United States, focusing on US-Europe relations through the lenses of energy, trade and investment policies and economic security. My writing and commentary has recently appeared in Foreign Policy, Politico, Handelsblatt, The National Interest, and elsewhere. You can read some of my work here: I was a senior program manager at SDSN, an international NGO and think tank. I led a team which produced data and recommendations for policymakers about climate and development targets, greening global supply chains, measuring engagement in multilateral institutions and the global development finance architecture. In this role, I worked closely with city and national governments, the OECD, companies like Esri and Systemiq and agencies like GIZ.Before that, I worked in the OECD\'s Public Governance Directorate and at UNESCO. Prior to my pivot to policy research, I spent eight years in government affairs and business development at ENGIE, a French-based multinational energy utility.I have an MPA from Sciences Po Paris, a master\'s in land use planning from the Université Paris-Sorbonne and a bachelor\'s from the University of Virginia. I speak French and English, grew up in the US and have been living in France since 2010.
