I am a recent Master of Occupational Therapy graduate from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences Austin campus with experience in a variety of specialized settings in the healthcare industry. As a graduate student, I excelled in each of my Level II Fieldwork rotations where I acquired individualized patient care experience in both outpatient hand therapy and intensive inpatient neurorehabilitation settings. I exhibited exceptional problem-solving and efficient time-management abilities, and was praised by each of my clinical instructors on my remarkable communication skills. I established proficiency in custom orthosis fabrication, post-operative upper extremity care, and remedial and compensatory treatment approaches for patients with varying levels of functional independence. In addition to my clinical experience and personal qualities, I possess an outstanding educational background and a passion for creativity. Upon graduation, I received the Rebecca L. Estes Scholastic Achievement Award presented to the student with the highest GPA in the graduating class. I am enthusiastic about providing high value, patient-centered care, and look forward to beginning my career as an occupational therapist.
